  • 2. Search and select foods you want to eat
  • 3. Calorie Wiz will calculate the portions for you
  • 4. Eat!
  • 1. Tap the menu icon at the top left corner
  • 2. Select Settings
  • 3. From here you can change any of the settings from when you signed up
Calorie Wiz uses the Harris Benedict Equation to calculate your basal metabolic rate (BMR). Your basal metabolic rate is the amount of calories needed if you were to lay around with no energy expenditure. The Harris Benedict Equation uses your BMR and applies the activity level (energy expenditure) that best describes your lifestyle to determine your daily caloric maintenance level (the amount of calories to consume to maintain your current weight). Calorie Wiz uses this to calculate the amount of calories to consume in order to hit your goal! Remember that everyone is different, and everyone's numbers will be different depending on the factors below. In order to hit your goals, it is best to be as accurate as possible when selecting the options below.

No. When you register, you select the activity level that best desribes your average day. The activity level selected includes the average amount of calories you burn during a typical day. Therefore, if you exersise 30 minutes per day, you do not need to enter the calories you have burnt, as it's already been accounted for.
